The Good News Up Front

SAP Fieldglass solutions have recently been made available in the SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2®) Commercial Regulated Environment (CRE).

What is the SAP NS2 CRE?

SAP NS2’s CRE is a secure cloud environment for SAP solutions with a focus on availability, data security, and regulatory compliance. The CRE is available to customers looking for U.S.-based, U.S.-staffed resources in a highly secure and scalable environment.

The CRE was built to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-53 Moderate Baseline and all associated tools, processes, and personnel are consistent with FedRAMP® Moderate requirements. The environment also adheres to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) requirements. Its security controls are monitored by the SAP NS2 cybersecurity team and assessed on an annual basis by an independent 3rd Party Assessor (3PAO) to validate that the security posture is maintained.

Why Does it Matter?

The availability of SAP Fieldglass in the CRE is a significant milestone for our customers in US state and local government and highly regulated industries. Now, they can adopt SAP’s market-leading cloud applications for external workforce management and services procurement with an enhanced, enterprise-grade security model.
