Mark A. Testoni

President

Mark A. Testoni - President

Mark Testoni has been President of the company since 2011 with responsibility for management, sales, consulting, product support, and go-to-market strategy for SAP's most secure and sensitive US government markets, customers and partners. Prior to assuming this position, Testoni served as President of SAP Public Services.

Before joining SAP, Testoni spent more than nine years at Oracle, where he was responsible for building the company's application business within the Department of Defense. He was an architect of some of Oracle's most significant business systems wins, including the largest ERP project in company history, supporting the US Air Force.

Testoni has more than 14 years of IT industry expertise and 30 years of public sector experience.

Testoni is a graduate of the University of Tampa and holds an MBA from Southern Illinois University. He served for 20 years in the US Air Force, where he specialized in financial management, information technology and logistics. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

John Tomaselli

Chief Operating Officer

John Tomaselli - Chief Operating Officer

John Tomaselli serves as Chief Operating Officer of SAP NS2 and has been with SAP in various leadership roles across Public Sector and other Strategic Industries since 2002. He brings a 30-year track record of success in operational discipline and business growth.

Prior to his current role, Tomaselli oversaw the Business Intelligence & Analytics business and related solutions across SAP's Strategic Industries, which included the Public Services, Financial Services, Healthcare and Retail business verticals. Tomaselli joined SAP Business Objects in 2002 and started the State, Local, and Education business for the company. He was promoted to Regional Vice President for all of Public Sector at the end of 2006. In addition, the Healthcare and the Energy Practices were launched under his leadership.

Prior to joining SAP, Tomaselli was the Americas VP for Enigma, Inc. The company provided intelligent content-based technology products and services to enable business collaboration and commerce. As a member of the senior executive team responsible for sales and services, the company reorganized its go-to-market and execution plans to drive roughly 450 percent growth during his tenure.

Tomaselli began his business career in 1981 with the Xerox Corporation, in which he held various positions, including National Public Sector Management for Xerox Imaging. Prior to joining Xerox, he was a high school teacher and coach in St. Mary's County, Maryland.

Robert Butler

Robert Butler - Senior Vice President and General Manager

As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Robert Butler is responsible for all customer support and security operations.

Prior to joining the company, Butler was the President of CGI-AMS Secure, Inc., which he founded and led subsequent to the acquisition of American Management Systems (AMS) by CGI, a Canadian corporation. At AMS prior to the acquisition, he served as Vice President responsible for various segments of AMS' public sector business over a 25-year career. His AMS responsibilities included numerous large, complex ERP implementations for federal, state, and local government clients. He was also general manager of AMS' national ERP practice for state and local governments, including license sales, implementation consulting services, customer support centers, and product development.

He is a member of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). Butler received his B.A. degree summa cum laude from Johns Hopkins University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He obtained his MBA degree with distinction from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Harish Luthra

Harish Luthra - Senior Vice President, SAP Consulting, and Leader of the Professional Services Business

As the Consulting Leader within SAP NS2, Harish Luthra is responsible for leading successful program oversight, staff development in North America, and business development. The consulting organization he heads also liaises with SAP's solution management and development teams to enhance client success.  

Prior to joining SAP NS2, Luthra was the National Vice President of SAP Public Services, having started the Federal Professional Services practice in 1999.  In this role, Luthra was responsible for Professional Services sales and delivery for the federal government (defense and civilian), state and local governments, aerospace and defense corporations, and higher education institutions.  His successful project implementations have included the IRS IFS, USPS Human Capital Enterprise, US Army Medical Materiel Agency (TEWLS), Commonwealth of Kentucky, and the cities of San Diego and Portland.

Cherreka Montgomery

Cherreka Montgomery - National Vice President of Corporate Development

As National Vice President of Corporate Development at SAP NS2, Cherreka Montgomery works with the intelligence community, Department of Defense, and systems integrators to understand their unique mission requirements.

Prior to joining SAP NS2, Montgomery had more than 17 years of experience in assessing the effectiveness of federal programs in the US and abroad. Most recently, she was a Public Affairs Officer within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), where she served as the principal media spokesperson for the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), a research arm of the ODNI.

Previously, Montgomery served in the State Department as Director of Evaluation and Measurement in the Office of the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, where she led a newly-established unit in developing performance measurement instruments and supervising independent evaluations of the department's public diplomacy activities. Montgomery was nominated for the State Department's Franklin Award for her leadership in spearheading a groundbreaking pilot study to assess the impact of the US government's public diplomacy activities and programs on global audiences.

Montgomery has also shared her expertise with several non-governmental organizations, development assistance organizations, and congressional offices, addressing issues including the Millennium Challenge Account and the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. She has worked on initiatives to improve the lives of women and their families in developing countries, including Afghanistan; to reduce women's and girls' vulnerability to HIV/AIDS; to end child marriage in developing countries; and to improve the effectiveness of federally funded development assistance programs.

Montgomery has a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Virginia Union University, and a Master's degree in Campaign Management from the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University.

Phil Freedenberg

Vice President, Business Development

Phil Freedenberg - Vice President, Business Development

Phil Freedenberg has been Vice President of Business Development since 2011 and has served in key roles with SAP since 2007, including strategic account management in both DoD and the aerospace and defense sector. He brings 25 years of experience in defense operational requirements and a track record of success and business growth across the defense and technology industries.

Prior to joining SAP, Freedenberg was deeply involved in the development of the aerospace and defense practice at KPMG/BearingPoint. As Managing Director/ Partner of the defense OEM portion of the business, he built successful and lasting partnerships across the spectrum of technology partners, systems integrators, and government customers. Earlier in his career at KPMG, Freedenberg served as business financial manager for an ACT-I weapon systems program and as strategic advisor to the CIO at the Naval Air Systems Command.

Previously, Freedenberg gained international corporate experience as a director of business development and marketing in an emerging business unit at Eastman Kodak Company. Establishing key partnerships with technology leaders in the US and Asia, he help launch an entrepreneurial start-up business inside the large multinational company.

Freedenberg began his professional career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. As a naval aviator, he flew assault support missions during Marine Expeditionary Unit deployments, and served in various maintenance and quality assurance leadership roles. A 1987 graduate from the University of Rochester, he went on to earn his master's degree in business from Boston University in 1995.

Kristen Sanchez

Director of Marketing

Kristen Sanchez - Director of Marketing

As Director of Marketing for SAP NS2, Kristen Sanchez is responsible for marketing strategy and execution for the company.

Sanchez's background and expertise includes more than 11 years in public sector marketing and communications. Prior to joining SAP NS2, she served as an Industry Marketing Director at SAP Public Services, focusing on the Federal and defense sectors. Before joining SAP, Sanchez spent five years at Oracle where she held both sales and field marketing positions focusing on the public sector market. Sanchez has also held account executive positions at INPUT and Upstart Vision, a public relations firm focusing on technology start-ups.

Sanchez is a graduate of Radford University, where she majored in communications with a concentration in public relations.
